Caviar or Cheese?
Sabrina Shares A Scripture ~
But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God. –Galatians 6:14-16
Sabrina Shares On The Scripture ~
Are you the “caviar” or are you the “cheese” of the world? What a silly question you may say to me. However, in a conversation with a friend about the difference in the way he, as an author, writes and how I write just as I would talk to you… it hit me. God doesn’t look at how we verbalize ourselves with pretty words as to whether He accepts us or not. It became so clear to me that even though some of us don’t have the knowledge or know-how to write or talk with fancy words when telling others about Gods love for us and ours for Him… our witness and commission to share that love is still the same. The author friend of mine is able to write and speak so eloquently and as I was listening to this well-written and educated person speak of something that he’s presently writing, I found myself comparing my writings to his. In a joking manner, I told him that his writings sounded like a professor and mine the thoughts of a student and I then went on to joke about how if our writings were considered a buffet table at a party, that his would be the caviar and mine the cheese tray. As I began to laugh about the comparisons that I had made, God spoke to my spirit about how He loves us all… no matter our educational level, station in life, where we were born, what jobs we hold, how many children we have, what ever titles we may hold… the Father loves us all the same and uses us where we are to minister His love to His people. He doesn’t see us for our small or large bank accounts or things that we’ve accomplished in this life but yet for our effort to serve the kingdom and our willingness to praise and worship His holy name. As believers, we are new creations made whole through the precious blood that the Savior shed for the forgiveness of our sins. By this, we are all important and vital to the work of God… and He loves us all the same. So, my friend, wherever you are and whatever you do remember that you can play a very crucial role in the work of spreading the joy, love, mercy and grace of our heavenly Father… Whether you are a “caviar” person or a “cheese tray” person (makes me chuckle just to say that) it doesn’t matter… just be the person that God made you and set your sights on doing what is in the will of God for your life!!! Smile and know that you are loved!
Sabrina Shares Something Special ~ It‘s Up to You
One song can spark a moment,
One flower can wake the dream.
One tree can start a forest,
One bird can herald spring.
One smile begins a friendship,
One handclasp lifts a soul.
One star can guide a ship at sea,
One word can frame the goal.
One vote can change a nation,
One sunbeam lights a room,
One candle wipes out darkness
One laugh will conquer gloom.
One step must start each journey,
One word must start each prayer.
One hope will raise our spirits,
One touch can show you care.
One voice can speak with wisdom,
One heart can know what’s true,
One life can make the difference,
You see, IT’S UP TO YOU!
May JOY be the source of your SMILE…
and may JESUS be the source of your JOY!!!
There Is No God Like Jehovah!!!
Sabrina Says A Prayer ~
Lord, show us in all things and in all ways just how precious we are to You and how You long for us to draw close to You always. Give us the knowledge and desire to seek out the true path that You have put before us and give us the strength to follow after it with all our hearts and stay true to it. May we remember that we are vessels and witnesses to Your glory in all things that we do… even the simple things like a smile or kind word. No matter where each of us may be in our position or station of life, Lord, remind us that we are all so vital to You and that the love and mercy available to us is the same. Hold us in Your loving arms and cradle us with the Holy Spirit. Lead us… guide us… protect us.. In the mighty and glorious name of Jesus!!!…– Amen!
